Overview
NCFI, manufacturers of flexible foam products for the furniture, bedding, carpet padding, marine, medical, and aerospace industries, partnered with BedInABOX to create two memory foam products for the mattress industry. The two companies then entered into a co-retailing arrangement to share 1,600 square feet of exhibition space, converting it into a custom storefront environment to display new products and technology.

Solutions
We designed the space around a lightweight aluminum framing system, enclosing specific locations to display new products and showcase the latest technology. Each Matrix Systems frame allowed ease of wire management, and the ability to add and remove walls as needed quickly throughout the event. SEG graphics were used to give a seamless look, and a plexiglass room was constructed to hold private meetings in the space.

Results
Wholesale distributors were able to touch and feel the new BedInABox designs offering copper-infused fast recovery memory foam, ventilated gel memory foam, and various cover options, giving NCFI and BedInABox an in-person way to reach new customers in the “expanding and competitive online marketplace.”
